Previously she has worked with nonprofit organizations, archaeology companies, and universities. Her research focus is historic and maritime archaeology, specifically the ships used in the trans-atlantic slave trade, the globalization of trade during the colonial period, and the archaeology of the second world war. Jessica is also interested in improving the standards of professionalism in archaeology and making archaeology accessible to all. She has a passion for educating people about archaeology and all the amazing things it can teach us.
