#459 - Tom Crawford (Mathematician, Educator)

Tom is a Mathematician at the University of Oxford where he teaches undergraduates at St Edmund Hall, St Hugh’s College, and St John’s College. He also runs this award-winning website and associated social media profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube @tomrocksmaths. Tom regularly appears on the BBC, Oxplore – Oxford University’s digital outreach portal, and Numberphile – the largest maths education channel on YouTube with over 3 million subscribers.

#458 - Juliet Obi (PhD in Pharmaceutical Science)

Juliet is a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is originally from Nigeria, and is a Pharmacist by training. Her passion for research and development led her to move to the United States in 2017 to pursue a Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and now a PhD. Her current research project focuses structural biology, specifically how the Dengue Virus can he targeted to come up with potential therapeutics or vaccines for Dengue fever.

#457 - Douglas Taylor (Herpetologist & Educator)

Doug is an educator in the field of herpetology for years a fear is instilled in us to be afraid of the creepy crawlers and creatures like snakes with fears of them being dangerous when its really the complete opposite. Putting in the work to help areas in California become more educated with guided tours and "Herp Hunts" he aims to preserve most of these amazing creatures homes and show the world looks can be deceiving.

#456 - Anjii Bryers (Clinical Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist)

Anjii Bryers is a Clinical Hypnotherapist/psychotherapist, a Bio-field Therapist and an animal communicator. She specializes in the treatment of PTSD and trauma release in people, and animals all across the globe. Her career is dedicated to helping people, and animals all around the globe to RE-Empower themselves and heal from trauma. With clients worldwide, she runs online and face to face workshops, is a motivational speaker, and treats clients with Hypnosis even via zoom. Being the mother of past guest Zack Bryers episode 110 and 114 was nice to have a similar chat.

#455 - Jaime Reyes (Podcaster, "Whiskey J")

Jaime is a podcaster and creator motivated after his wife recorded his drunken rants about Alien Covenant Jaime aka Whiskey J is one third of the podcast "The Rambling Alcoholics". Jaime and his cousins Christian and Luis come together every Friday to talk about anything and everything in the world while booze is involved. Jaime started the podcast 3 years ago and has since expanded and created another shows within and calling it The Rambling Network.

#454 - Katie Saint (Licensed Professional Counselor, Behavior Analyst)

Katie has her PhD in behavior analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and graduated from Lakeland College with a Master’s Degree in counseling. Katie obtained her behavior analytic degree from Florida Institute of Technology. Katie is dual certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She provides individual, and couple counseling to adolescents and adults. Katie has written college courses and speaks internationally on topics related to mental health and behavior analysis. Katie has published three books related to mental health and one assessment related to people's ability to live a fulfilling adult life.

#453 - Corinne Blossfeld (Wildlife Rehabilitatior)

Corinne works as a wildlife rehabilitatior helping injured animals recover from such things as accidents from hunters and lost habitation due to human expansion. Sometimes these animals recover and are capable of being released into the wild but some are not so lucky and have to be in human habitation in a enclosure where they serve another purpose such as educating people on the amazing aspects of these animals not only raising awareness but also more care to their homes.

#452 - Kabir Parker (Free-diver, Conversationalist)

Kabir is a passionate free-diver, researcher, conservationist, and videographer. He has spent time in a multitude of ocean ecosystems, from coral reefs to kelp forests, documenting marine life and the impact human beings have on marine habitats. Having experience researching coral-zooxanthellae symbiosis as well as microbes involved in oil spill cleanup. As part of an internship at NASA he developed satellite image models of what plastic signals look like in the ocean. With this project he represented the United States at the Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit in Oslo, Norway in 2019.

#451 - Andrew Parker (Independent Creator)

Andrew is an independent creator living in Los Angeles California. He is the co-writer, producer, and editor of the audio drama podcast Crypta! As well as a voice actor for the podcast “The Backwoods Radio Show” and an actor in the upcoming webseries “The Tonopah Five”, creating videos and content that can help make you laugh until your sides hurt because comedy is the best for of medicine and with whats going on in the world it is needed.

#450 - Amy Ardrey (Paranormal & Supernatural Podcaster)

Amy is one quarter of the podcast Unearthing Para-normalcy, While growing up in an extremely haunted house, the paranormal has always been a part of Amy’s life and has turned into her passion. Living in the middle of the Bible Belt it was not always accepted to have an interest in the paranormal. She and her husband Dave, along with her two brothers Chad and Eli, have come together to create a podcast that explores all things paranormal and occult. In order to understand it better and take a little of the fear out of the unknown. Sometimes things are only scary because we do not understand them. Therefore, it is important to step back and look at it with a willingness to learn, and you might just find that it is not scary at all, just different.
