#359 - Stefan Burger (Cacti Explorer, Tour Guide)

Stefan is an Australian naturalist and habitat guide living in Chile. Currently guiding habitat tours and researching these weird and wonderful plants that are known as Cacti, trying to show people their is so much beauty in something that looks so intimidating. The amount of time and the immense struggle it takes for a cactus to grow in climates where most plants cant even survive these defensive plants seem to find a way in impossible standards adapting to a climate and growing amazing height and weight. Stefan is trying to teach people to look beyond the exterior even though that's where we all want to focus on or at least how we find a way to make a funny clip out of it.

David works for Pepsi but where the fun is in the magical box of mystery and nostalgia we all enjoyed as kids that's right cereal. David started his YouTube channel reviewing cereals while being a little baked when that's one of the crucial times to really enjoy cereal just remember your servings are off when high. Under the name "highsp00n" check out his videos reviews all with a Canadian accent to truly bring the great white north to your country and you just cant beat that accent.

#355 - Morgan Irons (Astroecologist & Soil Scientist)

Morgan is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of Deep Space Ecology Inc., a space and agricultural business startup working to solve the challenges of food security on Earth and deep space as we venture out into our solar system. Her work concentrates on “quasi-closed, agroecological systems” for sustainability in extreme environments and long duration space habitation. Morgan is a Soil and Crop Sciences PhD candidate in the Lehman Lab at Cornell University, where her research focuses on soil organic matter stabilization mechanisms and carbon sequestration under varying environmental stressors. Morgan is the recipient of the 2019 Norfolk Institute Fellowship and the recipient of the 2019 Ken Souza Memorial Spaceflight Award of an experimental payload on a Blue Origin New Shepard Launch in 2020.

Using his talent for voices makes it a fun experience on occasion through this episode you will hear Mark and my impressions of voices. "Mall Grab Coffee" in Portland OR, is a coffee company where West decided to give back and donate to one of the things he loves doing such as skateboarding giving kids the opportunity to really do something fun and stay away from a lot that makes you grow too fast in this world.

Cesar was raised in Orange County and currently in Riverside, CA starting a Hot Sauce company because he wanted to create something that not only provides a good amount of heat but is balanced with great flavor that compliments whatever you put it on, but also with the true intention of giving back to the community and buy personal development books and materials for incarcerated youth. From outreach work for the utility company and being a hypnotist trying to help people overcome challenges an realize the disconnect in the world. Life is a journey some end quick some last too long but becoming yourself is the overall goal whether its climbing a mountain or creating a hot sauce to bring people together.

Matt works by day in one of the weakest moments in a persons life trying to make everything comfortable and provide an experience that will be memorable to honor a passed away loved one. Death is no easy task to get through and it can happen at any age with his experience being involved in this has changed his outlook on life and how fleeting it is. Taking the time to relax he also cooks on cast-iron skillet showing you his self teaching and ways of making recipes through his YouTube and other social media showing it doesn't take a whole lot of experience to create something beautiful.

Sam is an advocate of Mycelium a topic picking up steam in the new world were living in with finding many different uses for mushrooms and fungi when it comes to material breakdown or construct. Part of the Central Texas Mycophiles Unite a group of united Central Texans dedicated to working with Fungi. Fungi are foundational species for nearly all terrestrial life on Earth. They are critical links between the health, stability, and abundance of the soil, plants, and fresh water on which human and animal life depends. Trying to use better education Sam teaches and shows people a better way to thrive that is less harmful to this place we call our home.
